She was fortunate to have married her high school sweetheart many years ago and has been blessed with 4 amazing children and 2 beautiful granddaughters. Prior to becoming a broker, She received a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the university of Great Falls, MT. and worked in banking industry as the purchasing/asset manager. She moved to the Lake Norman area in 2007 with her husband and family after traveling across the United States and Europe as a military wife.     I am a native North Carolinian, originally from Raleigh. I joined the US Air Force in 1990 where I relocated several times over a period of eight years before returning to North Carolina. I have continued my military career as a Citizen Airmen with the NC Air National Guard in Charlotte totaling more than 25 years of current military service. I earned my degree in business through University of Phoenix and obtained many valuable leadership skills focusing on team management and customer service through my military education. Throughout my career and education, I uncovered a natural desire to work with and help people. Coupled with my military career, in 2007 I had the pleasure of working with and serving military Veterans and their families in a support role as a government contractor. The greatest reward for working with these families was knowing that I played a key role in fulfilling their needs. For eight years I travelled all 54 states and territories, some more than once. Because of these experiences, I am culturally diverse with a broad understanding of different societies. I feel like my cultural knowledge, along with my desire to help people, are benefits for those relocating to the Charlotte region. In 2015, I moved from Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C., to the Charlotte area. It has been a passion of mine to become a professional Realtor for several years, but this most recent move solidified my decision to pursue this career. Ironically enough I was conducting the trial run of my skills and abilities in Real Estate during this most recent move as I looked for just the right community.     Born in New York City as the son of a Brooklyn Boy and a Queens Girl, I, enjoyed the beaches of Long Island in my younger years staying in our family's cottage in Suffolk County. At age 8 our family moved to Cazenovia, NY in the upstate just outside of Syracuse, NY which was a great experience with a 5-mile lake to play on in the summers and plenty of snow skiing opportunities in the winter. After my graduating high school, our family relocated to Charlotte, NC. I attended a Junior College out west where, I like to think, I majored in snow skiing which lead me to squeezing a 2-year Associates Degree into 3 years. I then completed my Bachelor’s Degree at UNC Charlotte with a major in Business Administration. If you need a good reference for great skiing in Colorado, Utah, Idaho or Wyoming I can certainly help you with that. I started my professional career in 1988 in the housing industry in Roanoke, VA, where I met Stephanie, my wife of 26 years. We have been blessed with 2 great children, Joshua and Taylor. Joshua graduated in 2018 from High Point University with a degree in Physics and is currently employed with an engineering firm in Mooresville, NC. Taylor will be entering her senior year at UNC Charlotte in 2019 where she is majoring in Business Finance and plays on their women's volleyball team. Throughout my career I have lived in Roanoke, VA; Harrisburg, PA; Richmond, VA; Raleigh, NC; Jacksonville, FL; Austin, TX; Denver, NC; Mooresville, NC and now in the Larkin Golf Community in Statesville, NC. These moves resulted in 9 houses purchased and 8 homes sold. I have lived in the Charlotte area for 26 years from Mint Hill on the east side to Mount Holly on the west side and from the South Park area to Statesville in the north. Living in and around the immediate Charlotte metro area has given me a broad knowledge of the overall market as well as the desired areas for all price points. With the purchases and sales of my homes, I have experienced good transactions with realtors as well as transactions that I choose to forget. I, as much as anyone understand what makes for a good real estate transaction. For me, a house is a house; BUT when it becomes where you and your family reside, it becomes your home that produces memories for your family forever. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to me which has allowed me to win multiple awards with several companies. One of the greatest accomplishments I have made in this area is making the introduction of my children to people that I have had real estate transactions with. One that provided Taylor with her internship in the summer of 2019, and Joshua with his current job. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf with my son, clients & friends and going to my daughter’s volleyball games with my wife. After my tour of duty with a couple of builders as a On Site Agent, I made the decision to join the Magnolia Real Estate Team.
